My Jewellery

Ive made jewellery for over 25 years, although only recently taken up lampworking and incorporating handmade glass beads into my designs. Ive always liked experimenting with colour and texture and with making your own beads you can be as flexible with colours as you want to be.

My other passion in life is crystals, so I often feel naturally compelled to mix natural gemstone beads into my makes. I also use my knowledge of crystal healing in terms of choosing which crystals will work best together and at what location on the body (something which I will explore further in my blogs, both on this website and on my Facebook page.

I use a variety of other materials in my makes, ranging from wire, to leather, to ribbons and even shells. I don’t exclusively use 925 silver in my designs, but rather tend to use silver plated findings or often colour treated copper wire. That said, all wireworked pieces can be made solely out of 925 silver upon request.

Part of the joy of making my own beads, is that I love to experiment and produce a wide range of colour mixes and styles. I love to then use a mix of beads in my jewellery, often focusing on a colour band ñ rather than making a set of beads all the same. This makes items very adaptable to any outfit you choose to pair them with ñ making items very wearable on a daily basis.

I do take commissions also, so dont be put off by the item not being to your colour preference. Let me know what you want and I will do my best to create a custom piece just for you.
